Introduction |
|
First of all, before I start, please don't copy any part of this FAQ
because it's my own hard work and I took time and typed myself. If you
want to make one for yourself, type your own by taking an idea from my
FAQ. Won't YOU hate it if you worked so hard making you favorite
subject's most high rated project and someone copied an idea of your work?

Game Menu |

The first selection is the Story. When you will start there, the DBZ story
will start from Frieza saga all the way to Mr. Buu saga.
The second selection is the Versus menu. You'll be able to play either
with a second player or with the computer.
The third selection is the Tenkai-chi Boudokai (The World Tournament)
mode. Here you can select 8 players and play like an elimination round or
world tournament just like in the real Dragonball.
The fourth selection is the Practice mode where you can practice for as
long as you want.
The fifth selection is the Options where you can change the Options of the
game. |
| 3.
Basic or One-to-All Attacks |
|
Hyper Dimension is kind of easy game compared to other DBZ games. Here are
the Basic or One-To-All Attacks which means the attacks which will work in
every character in the game. If you don't know them, you must learn them
immediately.
A =
Fireball B: Kick
X: Special Character Attack
Y = Punch
There is also a 3-D attack for each character. To perform that attack, try
either:

If you are
on the left side: tap L+B or L+Y |
|
If you are
on the right side: tap R+B or R+Y |
The reason I'm giving two combinations because only one combination works
for each character. Practice this in the Practice mode so you know which
character has what combination. ______________________________
In Hyper Dimension, when you want to kick a character into another stage
you do this:

If you
want to kick a character into a stage on any side (left or right) you
press, Towards, Away, Towards, X |
|
If you
want to kick the character so you can fight in the air press: Down,
Towards, X |
|
If you want
to kick the character down, which can only be done when you are fighting
on air, then press Down, Back, X |

This attack
is an attack which works in every character. It's a b;st which can be
thrown upwards and does a lot of damage.
Press:
Back, Down, Toward, A to do this attack |

Fighting Tactics. |
| Counter Attack: When you
block, and your opponent is punching or kicking or hitting you, there
is a little light that comes up near your arms when you block. When
that light or spark comes up, you can pull off some attack which is
NOT a kick or punch or normal one-key attack, but is a attack like
kicking upwards or like a Kamehameha wave. I mean that any attack
which has a combination of multiple buttons. When you'll do that,
you'll counter attack it. |
| The Most Powerful or
Special attack: Each player has at least one most special and powerful
attack. Note about it that each at least take 100+ HP of the other
player. And you can only perform it when your HP bar is flashing red.
But if you're in Practice Mode This attack for some players are very
hard to do. It takes a little bit of time. But my advice is, that if
you are trying to do it, and you can't achieve it. Forget about it
because you're going to get yourself killed somehow by your opponent. |
| Combos: When you're
being multiple-kicked or punched by your player, you can block and
when there's a spark, you can do multiple attacks means you can press
combination of kicks punches and so on all at once. It is unblock able. |
| When attacks collide: When
you and your kick or punch at the same time, you will go into a
fighting mode when you cannot do anything. When this happens, you should
keep tapping all of the buttons: A,B,X,Y. When the fight is over, the
person who would have pressed the most will throw the other
character a normal blast, then a Super Ki Blast. When you are
flying, then one person will go to the foreground and the other person
will be in front. The character which will be in the front will throw
wither multiple Ki blasts or one Super Ki Blast. The person in the
foreground will have to defend there multiple blasts by pressing the X
button. To defend from the Super blast, press Y. Although even if
blocked by the Super blast, it sill does a little damage. |
